  1. My Italian Barber order from this Sunday shipped UPS but it did have a soap & aftershave.
  2. Beautiful shave and photo Jim. The Rocnel is really a good looking razor. Have a safe trip.

  10. @jluc The Lupo didn't arrive in today's mail. But @jtspartan I did go by the post office to pick up my Simpson Trafalgar T3. The thing is huge compared to the CH2 synthetic. The knots appear to be similar but the increased loft on the T3 does make it easier to splay. The fibers on the knot appear to be very similar to the ones used in the Shavemac Synthetic.

I am looking forward to Jason's thoughts on the T2 knots once he removes them from their handles.
  11. Breathtaking Jason! Last time I seen those beauties was from a plane window. Trees here are covered and the snow is packed deep....very deep.

  12. Congrats, Clint!
  13. Sorry for not quoting individually gents but been a bit busy here today with shovelling and doing some overdue lathe work. Fabulous line ups and pics fellas!

  15. Sounds like 3 is the way to go with the REX, Clint. Doesn't matter that it isn't wide open, it works.
Interesting, Perry. I use those Personna Twins once in a while and have never had a significant clogging issue. I use them in a Schick I1, however, and not a Personna Injector.
Good luck finding that product, Joseph. I will check with the place I get Thayers at locally to see if they have any old stock.
Good luck with the Floating Head, Jeff. Yes, it isn't mindless, but it is excellent...
Another great Frankenrazor, Danny! You are the king of those.
Sounds like nice software, Gary. Good afternoon, sir...
One could argue that you stayed up too late surfing TSD, Tim...:)
Safe travels, Jim. The amount of travel you do certainly seems to have increased with your job switch.
Hump Day! Looks like some remnants left from the party, Andrew. On a side note- I really like the look of those hand-scraped floors.

  17. Congrats on the new brush, Joe.
  18. Very glad to hear that the quality of fibres appears to be similar, Clint. I got T2's specifically as I like to use my 1" or 1 1/8" Collet chucks to hold the handle by the hole while on the lathe. That means either a 24mm or 28mm knot, usually. The T2 is listed as 24mm.
I can also set them more deeply if need be, too.
  19. I will use both the T3 and Shavemac for a few days each starting on Friday.
