I had a very nice shave today with a Gem Damaskeene loaded with a second use Meijer SS. And the Gillette new long loaded with a second use Feather New High-Stainless. Cremo cooling blended with Arko on SHD two band badger lathered very well.
Wed 19th Feb Simpson chubby 1/ Maggards 2 band Williams Mug Soap Schick N3 Schick Twin -Japan [ 4 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion I normally use the N3/Twin blade for a relaxed weekend Shave, but things went off course a bit. I like the Twin blade as it seems to cope very well with my quite tough beard, and today the N3 was very comfortable and the overall finish quality was top notch.

Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Arko Shave Soap Jayaruh #375 Bunny V3 Injector by Tom Personna Injector CWR Pinaud Clubman The Arko Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #375 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector by Tom with a Personna Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. Thur 20th Feb. Jayaruh Syn. No67 Tabac soap PAL Injectomatic Schick NOS Dutch [ 2 ] Tabac A/S Lotion I had a rare unsatisfactory Shave today, as normally with this combo I get a rather good one. I think that perhaps this NOS blade is a bit off, as the blade was dragging rather than being smooth as it should be. I reluctantly finished the Shave with this Razor, and was rewarded with a below par finish.
SOTD, Thursday Feb 20 2020 Razor: Oneblade core version #2 -MFG 2018> ,excellent daily driver. Blade : Gem SS PTFE modified (9) Soap : Proraso red sandal wood. Brush: Yaqi timberwolf 24mm- nice dense packed soft tip whiskers. Preshave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave: Proraso red sandal wood aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea Men balm. Results: CCS,DFS, BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Have some great shaves!

I had an excellent shave this morning with my Eversharp Hyro-Magic and a Chick blade. Palmolive lathered very well with a few drops of Stirlings frost drops. And the SHD two band badger always performs flawlessly.
Fri 21st Feb. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Pall Mall Occams Hiram / Plate No3 Schick Proline [ 1 ] Grey Flannel A/S Lotion Changed blades in the Hiram today, was my first use of the Schick Proline blade in a No3 plate. Fitted with ease and secured on the retainng pegs properly with no blade smile.The Shave was very smooth and comfortable, and I had no problems getting a superbly close all round finish. The Razor/Blade combo was particularly good working on the jawline and neck, an area where many Razors struggle.

SOTD, Fri,Feb 21st 2020, modified my C1 Valet Auto-strop blade gap in 2019(months ago) from .011 to .007 thousands of a inch to smooth out the shave, reasonably easy to do IMO. Great shave. Razor : Valet auto-strop C1 Canadian variant- MFG 1920's to 1930's all over the world. Blade: Modified Gem Personna SS PTFE (2) Soap: Haslinger Schafmilch- great soap IMO.(mild scent) Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24mm with black marble handle. Pre-shave : Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave: Pinaud Clubman with witch Hazel + Nivea sensitive balm. Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Have some great Shaves!
I am afraid that the current price is rather off putting for potential buyers. There were some faulty ones in the Original batch, maybe trying to make up for losses on having to replace some . Just Glad that I got mine at a much better price.
