We had a great time! The parade was a lot of fun and then Wilson went back with his grandparents and Alice and I stayed downtown and had some great food and drinks. Southern National is a downtown restaurant that was outstanding. Add that to your list. We ate at Boiling Pot on Friday night and then at Rice on Government Boulevard on the way out of town on Sunday. It was a fun trip.
Just got an email from Fine Accoutrements. They are premiering a new scent called Aquamarine. Their description: Aquamarine is the carefree scent experience of being at the ocean. A soothing green-aquatic fragrance pairing citrus topnotes over algae, oakmoss, & amber basenotes. The result evokes the unmistakeable feeling of relaxing sea-side, under a warm sun, accompanied only by the rhythmic sound of the surf. Interesting to see how this smells. I like their scents but also liked that they stuck to a few tried and true marquee scents and didn't try to create tons of products.
