First timer in the forum. Switched from cartridge to DE a few months ago...learning curve coming along. Less nicks..less blood as I progress! Going to London later this year and was amazed to how many shave stores there are in that city! Are there any special razors, blades..soaps that I should look for, that I would not be able to find in the states? Or any special shops that deserve consideration? thanks again... Rick
Welcome to TSD! I can't offer too much help on shave shops to hit but, but I will say that the Boots drug store shave sticks are pretty nice. I've not seen them in the states.
And other than going through the shops; I’ll also say the Boots the Chemist shave products are what I’d go after.
Rick, welcome to The Shave Den! It's fun to visit the shops in London like Taylor of Old Bond Street and Trumpers. It will give you a chance to smell all the different scents to see which ones you like. You can probably get better prices buying on-line, though. I had the most fun visiting the Chemists to see what products they carried. I ended up buying Palmolive shave soap and cream. I'd definitely pick up some Boots products if I return. I missed out on those the first time around. Enjoy your time in London. There's a lot to see.
Welcome @eyeu from here in western NY. Glad you decided to join us at TSD. I haven't traveled there, but like many places in the world ..... it's the off beaten path that produce the greatest rewards. Looks for second hand shops a few blocks off the main thorough fare.
