Beautiful looking shave, Jim. Sorry it got as tuggy as it did. I'm supposed to be on shave four for all the razors I'm using this week, but I think I'm gonna switch 'em out--I want the last week to be a sharp one. Enjoy your Saturday, sir!
Awesome! Nothing better than a night on the town with the better half--sounds like you both had fun. I should learn how while my knees will still let me.
I might do the exact same thing; Evan gave me a couple to try, so I'm excited to see how it turns out--heard good things
I’m a little put out with the entire shipping thing. But I’m trying to at least be positive about the razor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
good morning gents, saturday shave.loaded a platinum blade into the 1940 gold prewar tech, built a slick figaro oud lather with the brush by Jason/omega boar, and got a fabulous near bbs in 2 plus passes.may do a tech focus again at some point as it takes a shave or so to dial them in.want to attempt a finish at my february flare tip focus..we will see..definitely shaves the same as the nickel plate version..no surprise there..very smooth and efficient razor, and historically significant as the only premium cased gold tech before ww2 as far as i know..figaro splash to finish..awesome..have a fine day everyone..
Thanks, Tim! I believe that was my last Dorco ST301. I only had a few of them from an early blade sampler. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
Off to a running start Charlie! Good stuff! ** This Timex Weekender is standard on all weekend missions ** Will be firing up the grill for this crowd of noisy 12 years olds in approximately T minus 2 hrs . That may settle them down. Its BBQ weather today. Balmy 0* C / 32 * F right now ! I prefer 75F myself.
I've only ever heard of it in the song "Is Chicago, Is Not Chicago" by Soul Coughing... "Saskatoon is in the room..." It's the 1st city mentioned in the song, so it's got to be good... right?
