Looks like I'll receive the Sir Hare soap tomorrow. (A bit of a delay, but that's deja vu all over again with these delivery freax).
Thanks Jeff.....I shook out a little too much of the talc so I figured I'd just slap it on and let the rest fly through the air. That's what the barberettes do anyway.
Unfortunately, my local aisle 12 doesn't have any ladies to warrant any attention by me. If there were, then they wouldn't be paying attention to this old man. Lol!
With all shave devices I try to get 'on angle' and make a long steady stroke through the path without making quick repeat pick-ups. I'd far prefer to re-lather and do another pass to try to avoid the irritation of reduced lubrication. I can quick rinse a straight and see that some water and soap film will carve off on the 2nd over with the best soaps, but none on the 3rd. On some of the shave videos I've seen, it is amazing how many times a razor can repeat, repeat, repeat on a shave stroke just made without a benefit of a re-lather. I could probably find a few videos where the star of the show thinks he made a 3 pass shave because that is the number of times he lathered. If I count the number times the blade went over the same area, he might have done 8,10,12 passes. It is all good in my book though. Being a shave liberty advocate, I only care about one 'happy face', mine.
