After the up chuck incident in the car this morning..... I put the car seat in the shower and sprayed off what I could. Had to leave it till later. Tonight, got home... Tore the car seat apart, well disassemble it. What didn't go in the washer was sprayed down with cleaner, then scrubbed brushed well, very well, in the shower . After the cover is finished washing, and everything is dry. I'll put it all back together. Thinking it should be ready by 6 0r 7am in the morning. Done this before, not an issue, just a pain. Life goes on.... tp
Put in what seemed like about 4,000 applications for a new job. It really irks me that I put in a resume online, then still have to fill out the online resume..... Had an interview yesterday, not what I really want to be doing, but they did offer me a position..... Gonna hold out for a bit and see what I can come up with.
That's never good news Keith. Sometimes change is better and I wish you good luck in your new direction!
God knew how unhappy I was in my last position and I thank Him for giving me the push to go and find a new position. Reminds me of the story ..... There was a salesman selling door to door out in the country and came to little shack with an old man sitting on his porch. Next to the old man was his dog, who was whining and whimpering. The salesman's pitch being thrown off by the noise finally asked the old man “What’s wrong with your dog”. The old man said “Theres a sharp nail he’s laying on”. The young man asked “Laying on a nail?, Well why doesn’t he get up?” The old man then replied “It’s not hurting bad enough yet....” Don't we all do that sometimes?
Just imagine being in the woods and having to bear your backsides to relieve yourself. Years ago there was this television program where they had a modern family go back and try to live as a family in the 1800's. One of the teenage girls figured out how to pee standing. She got my respect because that exactly what I would do.
I bet that the majority of our population in north America couldn't survive living in 1800s conditions.
Nope, not a chance. Even those who are prepped would have a very hard time surviving the hungry ones who aren't. My family has a standing bug out plan in place, though, in case of major SHTF. Priority #1: get out of urban Florida ASAP.
