  1. Thank you, Charlie! The King of Bourbon scent is definitely lovely. A little bourbon and a lot of vanilla.

I got the Shea Butter idea from you, and I have been enjoying it. I am in OK today and didn't bring any with me, and I can tell the difference. My fave feels smoother and softer when I use it.

Hotel shave this morning, and it was nice and easy. It is also me middle daughter's birthday as Jenna is turning 11 today. I hope this meeting gets done quickly so I can catch my plane in time for dinner tonight. I hope everyone has a great day!

  7. Once you get started, Joseph, the prose will flow. If I may...

It was another cold, dark February night, and the stinging north winds whipped through the corn fields. Minutes before the clock struck midnight, the 7-Eleven was predictably busy selling cheap smokes, losing lottery tickets, and single bottles of beer to working stiffs numbly emerging from second shift at the factory.

In stark irony, I sat comfortably in front of my work bench, a dram of Ardbeg Uigeadail at my side, quietly stropping my cutthroat razor for tomorrow's shave. The blade steel occasionally caught glints of a full moon that hung still and dangerously low just outside the window. With every pull of the edge against the hide, the rhythmic sounds echoed through the room, burying memories of times past...
OK, Joseph, you can take it from there. Wax on, wax off. :)

  20. Thank you Jim. I made a snap judgement this morning between the Lupo and JAWS. I really want to wait for a few more shaves before making a final call. I will finish out the week with both razors.
