    Good morning

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Light tickle from the alum. I did give myself a tiny little slice along my right jaw where the whiskers make an abrupt change in direction. Gotta remember to fully lift and clear before turning the razor.

First use of a Fine soap. Color me impressed. I see myself getting the matching soaps for the aftershaves I currently have. The container size is a downfall though.

    Happy HUMPDAY! [IMG]

Time for a great shave! After the debacle yesterday, I decided to shave with a razor I haven’t shaved with in some time, my Blackland Vector. After loading it with a Schick Proline blade I launched into what turned out to be an excellent shave.

The new Alpha Shaving brush generated that nice thick paste that was then face and head lathered into that thick, yogurty, glistening MWF lather that has served me so well this month. I’d forgotten how using the Vector feels like sweeping away the whiskers effortlessly. Two passes - WTG and ATG - did the trick.

The beauty of this razor was the way it glided over the shave surface without disturbing yesterday’s injuries. Given the state of my dome and Adam’s Apple, this near BBS shave was a welcome change from yesterday. I feel clean, smooth and refreshed.

    RAZOR: Blackland Vector
    BLADE: Schick Proline
    PREP: Cold water rinse
    BRUSH: Alpha Shaving T400 Synthetic
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Thayers Lavender WH and Florida Water finished w/ Lisa’s Naturals Balm

Excellent shave, Jim! I have a Fine soap that was sent to me by Danny and only used it once. It produces a great slick and cushiony lather, but the scent is non-existent which is the reason why I don't use it.
