  2. Dead is Dead sounds like it is Dead... The Flare Tip is a simple, humble quality whisker reducer, no doubt.

  3. Hump Day! Glad to hear the shave went well also, Andrew.
    PS- the Waffles look great...

  5. No real desire or need to shave this morning so I gave it a pass. I did order 200 SE blades from Connaught today after paying $7.80 for a 10 pack at the local drug store. $0.17 per blade is much better than $0.78 per blade.

What is also stupid is that the best price I can find for a product made here in the USA is coming from the UK and includes shipping across the Atlantic twice...
  6. Awesomeness Jason.

  7. Thank you Tim....it's just a matter off going 100& on each side.

  9. Thanks, Joe. I had an E2 but didn't find it more aggressive than the E3 or G4 I kept. I have heard that there are a few different versions of the E2 though, believe it or not. With your open blade experience, they will be super easy for you.
  10. Thanks Jim!

  12. Thanks, Jim! Feathers definitely make for an easier shave for me--I'll have to keep a lookout for those sales ;)

  15. Thanks, Clint. I hope so, too. Long day of presenting tomorrow, and I'd prefer not to do it with my face constantly in a hankerchief.

  17. If it ever does goes bad and the Dollar Trees get looted go for the Pears soap and the Assured razors. :D Thanks Jason......it is not a bad shave in a pinch but I feel a little better shave coming in the morning.
  18. I've been tempted--it's not like it's coming out like a geyser or anything. I've been keeping mental notes and rating the "failed" shaves, so I've got data to work with ;)

  19. Hump Daaaaaay! Declan's looking like a happy camper (with a quarter of a waffle in him, he'd better be).

Fantastic and encouraging report, Andrew! Glad to see things are solidifying around your set up. I've also been playing around with getting more water into my lather. It really does seem to help :D
