Thanks, Tim! Darkfall could be considered a polarizing scent. Fortunately I quite enjoy it. Thank you, Andrew!
Nice, Tim! I'm bad about struggling through a shave with a dulling blade. Other than the gear I'm using everything else is put away. I really should put a tuck of blades in the drawer next to my sink for such an occasion.
Thanks for asking Danny. She has a little cold that she is trying to fight off and has the aches and pains that come along with the third trimester and the baby getting bigger and bigger.
Congrats on the new razor Joseph. It looks to be in excellent shape. You inspired me to pull out the boar and B&M Bay Rum for Saturday's shave.
Thanks, Tim! I go ATG on my final pass. However, I caution you that my beard, my technique and experience allows me to do 2 passes. Eventually, when you get the experience of being able to do 3 passes WTG, XTG and ATG in that order, you may eventually get down to 2 passes, with the last pass XTG or ATG, depending on what quality of shave you choose. In the beginning, I always went for BBS and then I realized that my technique improved that I can get a new term, a visual baby butt smooth shave with less passes (VBBS). My VBBS is the same aa my IBSS++. You are the master of your shave and you decide what type of shave you want from your shavette. My point is follow the basics of straight shaving and then, as you progress, start tweaking your technique at around 50 shaves. At 50 shaves, you should start feeling comfortable using your shavette so that you can slightly experiment with your technique.
Thank you, Clint! I am enjoying my free time this week. I didn't expect to be called to sub right after the winter break so I have been enjoying the time off.
I just received my Schick injector and razor today. I won it from the recent TSD raffle. I never used one before so I might use it as my last shave for this month. I loaded the razor without a problem so that is a good sign. Lol!
