  10. I understand your point completely and agree. I am an outlier, among my friends here I am one of only two daily shavers.
  11. Thanks Keith! I have the utmost respect for you as a fellow straight razor enthusiast. I appreciate the little nuances in straight shaving that I have learned from you. Have a great Friday!

  12. Way behind and no time to catch up. Here is log-by posting. I am going to do a run of smiling razors to cheer myself up.

Thursday: Drew Dick 7 layer damascus, nice edge, very nice shave.

Friday: SK-3 I don't like small razors but I love this one. The soap is in honor of Joseph, @Primotenore , AoS tallow...... great stuff. Great shave.

  19. When I got it years ago it was nos. I wore it for a while till the battery died that I had put in it. It sat around for a while and I sent to a guy in Sweetwater, Tennessee that specialized in the Accutrons. He went through and put in new crystal. It needs a battery now. I have the original strap for it. It is put up and I cannot put my hands on it right now. The John Deere Accutron was my dad's. He was awarded it from the company he worked for in the early 70s. He wore it continually till it died. Notice the wear in the lugs. 20200227_201303.jpg 20200227_201535.jpg
