  5. Nice summary! I’ll be following your Shavette focus with interest, Patrick. I won’t ‘roast’ you about the Barbasol, but suffice to say I won’t be joining in.

  6. I did have a Jetta Diesel Wagon, loved it. A lot.
Due to the penalty for creating an emissions cheat to keep up with gubbament standards that move on a sliding scale, the maker was forced to buy it back 4 years and 80k miles later for more than I originally paid.

  7. Fantastic British shave, Gary! You were a vintage Wilkie away from being completely a shave from the Isles. Hope you are feeling better, btw.

  13. The usual awesome summary, Clint. Congrats on getting that Boar where you want it, sorry about not liking the Lupo’s finish, and have fun carrying Swati’s bags today.:)

  14. @Bama Samurai is an incredibly knowledgeable shaver. Realize, though, that following Chris in shaving endeavours will mean things like using Arko for 108 straight days or not changing a brush for 3 straight months.
Yes, both these things actually occurred.
  15. Lol!
  16. Thanks, Jason.
I have the Dart sitting in front of me right now. If I damaged it when I dropped it I can't see it with the naked eye. I'm pretty sure I just lost my touch with it, which is odd because my very first shave with it and every shave up until I dropped were terrific. Tomorrow morning is going to be slow going with hyper focus on technique.
  17. Thank you Jason. I got lucky. After lunch Swati dropped me off to pick up my car. Now I stopped by to get the car washed and detailed. Pretty neat place with a coffee bar and such.

  19. Feb. 2020 closer.

Inspired by one dedicated Stirling Fan over in the Stirling Exchange thread, @chevyguy has lead me to citrus bliss. The soap combo from samples is Glacial Lemon Chill mixed with Lime. The menthol carries well, and I sense more lemon than lime. Refreshing!

First shave with the Schick Krona raffle prize as graciously donated by @John Beeman. My experience with TTO tooling is limited, but I'm going to rank this closely behind the Gillette Flair Tip. Maybe a tad more aggressive and more capable of delivering a blade binkie. I like the lower weight and longer handles on n/s moves.

The tall and dark synthetic by WCS delivered perfect suds in the Symmetrical Pottery bowl that was not made for cereals.

I didn't have Lemon AS so I had to settle for Glacial Lemony Orange and Menthol Lime. Fun, Fresh and clean.

My new experiences with the TTO raffle winnings is going to bring some focus shaves my way.
