Posting late so please overlook me. Same shaves for Saturday and Sunday except for blades. Saturday was a Feather and I got about three good weepers which was unusual. I left everything the same (R1 plate) and with an Astra blade for Sunday and the shave was better but not where it needed to be. I don't know if the additional weight of the Kronos is throwing me off. The Atlas with as aluminum base plate does an excellent job. I may need to do a focus with the Kronos. Take care everyone.
Better shave this morning with the Karve with a fresh Astra and plate C. The Imperial soap was very slick this morning and is a soap I will definitely keep in the rotation. Finished the shave off with some Clubman aftershave lotion.

March 2nd New Improved ‘Bostonian’ w GSB (1) Simpson Sovereign/ Resin B&M Seville Thayers Dior Eau Sauvage AS First up in the New focus is this New Improved, recently back from Evan’s beauty salon. It wasn’t in bad shape before, but is really stunning now. Another day with the Seville, and the Simpson did its job: R.I.P., my friend. Would I rebuy? Absolutely, But not for awhile. As for the shave itself, it was a mixed bag. Got a great lather, but counted at least 3 hairs out of this knot again. I’m a little worried, tbh. Loaded in a fresh GSB, and ‘Yowzers’. One side of the blade was excellent, one was dull. Got the rare ‘off’ blade. Changed it up from the same tuck and had zero issue. 3 passes later, I am quite smooth. A little irritated, truth be told, but I think that was from the lousy first pass with a bad blade. Have a great day all!
Wow! An empty tub of soap caught on film! Great picture, Jason! Evan did a fantastic job on the razor! Congrats!
