The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #387 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Stick Schick with a Schick Proline blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Edit: My first few shaves with this razor were fairly aggressive. I found out why when I changed the blade with the Schick Proline. My old man eyes had not recognized that it was loaded with a twin blade. I found it pretty harsh. The Proline blade is very nice.

Shave of the Week!!

The English Tech is a really nice smooth shaver and my face likes it. The Plisson/L'Occitane brush is on of my favorites, for me they got it right. The VeraSoapCo SS is from a local vendor and is made with 3 different types of aloe vera and it does a wonderful job. Great lather, great skin care and smell pretty nice too. All in all, this is a fine collection for the week and look forward to wonderful shaves. Now go enjoy your day folks.

GEMonday March 2 2020, Pulled out my Gem Jr Parade and it's like we are one together when it comes to fine shaving, I really enjoyed my shave like usual with this razor. Not sure if it is the audio feedback while shaving or just the results at the end of the shave that puts a smile on my face!

Razor: Gem Junior parade with the baton handle- Mfg 1943 variant
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (9)
Soap: Razorock "The Dead Sea" - nice scent with great lather qualities.
Brush : Razorock Noir 400 Plissoft synthetic black whiskers.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Razorock T.D.S aftershave with witch Hazel + Nivea balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= great shave and hit the sweet spot.
