Gillette Slim ‘61/Feather Hi-SS/ Zenith 26mm Badger/Deluxe Shave Co. Doo-Wop Chiseled Face GTB splash/Chiseled Face GTB Eau de Parfum The Slim is a workhorse of a razor. Drop in a blade, set your gap and get to work. It never disappoints in providing solid shaves and more times than not, a smooth BBS finish. Perhaps not as fancy or heralded as its older sibling nor as prestigious as the Gillettes that came before it but, it holds its own against vintage and modern razors alike. Like I said, it’s a darn good workhorse of a razor. A great evening and shaves to all...

March Madness/Shavettes March 3 Razor - Feather DX Artist Club (Pain Stick) Blade - Soap - Soap Commander Courage Brush - I*V10 Hybrid The Moreau Post - Alum Hey hey hey! Look what I found!! Yes, that is the bottom of a Soap Commander tub with NO soap left. You can see what I started with in the full shave photo below, but once I started loading the ring fell apart and just got worked into lather by the hybrid knot. After the shave there was only a small amount of lather left on the sides so I rinsed it and that's that folks! That one is done. Now to decide the next to leave my den. Once again, my decision to delete Soap Commander is not because it's a bad soap. It's a very good soap. But it's vegan, and I like my tallows. So there you go. I do now have a nice storage container for things. As for the actual shave, the DX and Pro blades are still in perfect shape and providing smooth and effortless passes. Two of those passes with some touch up again brought me to a near-BBS and that's just fine. I have a pretty serious meeting tomorrow that I need to look good for and....thanks to the Feather razor and blade....I look better than I ever should. I'll take it. Hope you have a great Wednesday!!

It seems lighter than the US version. I'm really not sure which I like more, the US version or the Eur Version. I suppose it will depend on my mood. Oh yes, a Super Close shave with only two passes. Superb shave, if I do say so myself.
March 4th Tabac Tuesday Travel SOTN A much smoother shave tonight with a fresh blade and tabac despite the hard hotel water. Minimal irritation but otherwise error free and smooth. Happy shaves all. Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
