That's what I was thinking. I got confused on the writing on the bottom, thinking it was a date. Rather, I guess it's a code, maybe?
Nice haul! That's an Ever Ready 200T, it has a boar knot. They are sometimes called a Tuxedo due to their shape similar to a bow tie. They are beautiful when restored and even better when weighted. One of my favorite Ever Ready's.
Received this 1947 cased Aristocrat today. The razor will replace one I have that's missing it's end caps. And the case will be re-finished for another razor...............
The lot of four Lunds arrived yesterday from a clean up and fine honing by @gssixgun. Here’s a first look: Pretty sweet, right? Well they are but... they are not full size. Here’s a comparison to my regular sized Lund of the same shape: Still nice razors but not what I thought I had bargained for - caveat emptor.
It's not easy finding a Criterion case, so I just re-finished this case for mine. I changed the outside color to black and re-lined it in Criterion colors. Seemed easier than finding one by itself...........
