  5. Thank you, Ron. I’m feeling quite well, given the fact that I’m an old 73-year-old fart. It was just one of those things that sometimes happens. All in the past!. Thanks for asking.

  10. First shave with one of the “mini” Lunds. In pics (like eBay) they look sweet:
    Lund 9:16 four day set.jpeg

Well, they are sweet in their own way. Meaning they turned out to not be full sized razors. About a quarter inch shorter than regular blades:

At any rate, disappointment at the surprise aside, it provided a wonderful shave. :happy036:

  19. March Madness/Shavettes

    March 5

    Razor - RazoRock Wunderbar
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero
    Brush - 30DC LE
    Post - Alum

Taking a break from shavettes just because I can. I am, however, taking a break with a very aggressive slant. The Wunderbar returns with the Rapira PL to take on the duties for a few days. I love the feel of this razor and how quickly it reduces down to a BBS finish. I used the El Caballero again, and left the top off so you could see what I'm up against in killing this one off. Less total than the Soap Commander so it shouldn't be as fearsome to deal with. We'll see how long it lasts.

Great shave and the finish was indeed BBS. Great way to finish up a Thursday. Enjoy your Friday and here comes the weekend!

  20. Thursday March 5th SOTN

Returned home from my business trip with 2 days of growth and a box of Italian Barber soap waiting for me. I elected to grab their "unlabeled" soap in the glass jar for $9.99 and boy am I glad I did! It really seems to be an upper shelf soap. Easy to lather, great slickness, and subtle but lovely scent - rose petal maybe? Anyways, I'm smooth and smell great for bed. Happy shaves all.

    Josh
