Shavettism Great shave. Won't get Black Cherry in Glacial again. A little too much like a cough drop. Lather = easy, awesome. The Stirling Tuxedo is my most used brush. Great value, easy care. Stirling Noir is a nice dupe to the Drakkar. I love Stirling AS splash ingredients, I consider them perfect. Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Aloe, Glycerin, Hydrovance. I love this shavette and this blade.
Fantastic shave, Bill! I bought that brush for my 16 year old son for Christmas. I may have to borrow it one of these mornings
thank you Tim..i have way nicer ones but i use these for daily shaves.i get easy bbs shaves in 2-3 passes with them.if i sold the rest of my collection these and my brit service set would be my keepers..my point in all this you ask?..i learned the 3 Ts here from this fine band of ruffians..these razors are mild to moderate at best, but do the job just fine..congrats on your shavette progress..
Ha! Not so sure about that. Golf shirt and slacks tomorrow, Evan. Suits some days, blazers and open collars on others. Shirt and Tie occasionally, but I seem to be disliking ties more and more. You notice that it is the same watch all the time....
Thanks, Gary! They sound like the perfect work horse--sure, other horses may be faster and sleeker, but if you've got real work to do, day-in and day-out, give me a work horse every time. It helps that those are pretty fine looking workhorses, too
thank you for the kind words Tim..they are really not that special.just razors the average brit would of had in the 1930-40s.yesterday's weishi if you will.the aristocrats and new deluxe were the rich folks razors..some british oc aristocrat sets cost a weeks wages in those days..i babble on but the history is interesting..thanks for listening.
It's a good looking watch! I'd wear it. This is literally the last time I wore a tie to work. The photo is dated August 13th 2012. A group of us wore ties to harass a new hire who wore a tie everyday, this in an office where some considered shoes optional...
I did pick the ugliest shirt and tie combo I could find. The tie came from a thrift store and this is the only time I wore it.
good morning gents, friday shave..1945 #77 new rfb thin handle/platinum combo.this is the last and newest version of the new rfb open comb comes in a black case,is nickel plated instead of nickel /silver plate like the previous ones and actually uses a flat bottom tech cap..all other rfb razors had a ball end old type handle or were of 2 piece design..milady the exception .the razorock chrome silvertip synthetic built a fabulously scented don marco lather,2+ passes produced a near bbs finish.fine l'orange noir caps it off..awesome..will get the don marco aftershave next stock order.have a fine day everyone..
