Looks classy, Jason. The watch nuts call it "honest wear." I think it gives the watch character. Scratches and swirls tell a story. It will mean a lot to one of your kids when you hand it down to them one day.
March 6 SOTD: Razor: Tom White TAR Blade: Gillette Nacet Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket Lather: Stirling Haverford Aftershave: Stirling Haverford Additional Care: Unrefined Shea Butter The brass TAR was up this morning, and it definitely has some heft. There is more blade feel, at least to me, with this one than the Alumi-TAR, and when combined with the weight, it makes for a more aggressive shave. I did two passes and ended with a DFS+, minding the little spot I slipped up on yesterday. All in all, it was a definite good first shave with this razor. I hope everyone has a great day!
March 6 Caught up on the thread and identified no new maelstroms in progress (@Trigger is still asleep, I suppose), practically emptied the coffee pot, looking ahead to some fun with the SRX in a few minutes, and then I'm heading down to the school to help with Dr. Seuss day. Wonder if we'll have green eggs and ham for lunch in the school cafeteria? Reality check for @MrEE ... wearing a clean shirt, the same pair of Duluth jeans I had on a couple of days ago, and an old pair of running shoes. Hamilton Khaki field watch. No cuffs on my short-sleeve shirts...so no cuff links. Today is pajama day at the school, so I'll be overdressed. I'm nearly always a last-minute tax filer...except for this year. Got 'em done last night while the Bama guys were out hounds tooth shopping. I convinced myself yesterday that I'm in need of some Bamaflouge too. Enjoy your day, gents. Back later with the SRX and Dr. Seuss reports.
