My opening shave with Sir Hare(Alpha) was real nice. Alpha is their Tobacco&Sandalwood blend, and a perfect blend it is. One might say "Ahh, I can sure smell the tobacco scent, but there's something else in there, too." Well, of course there is-the Sandalwood . I'd say the tobacco wins out, but not by much. One thing I really like is that right on the container you see a bit of "Wet Shaving 101"(my quotes). That tells me it would be the perfect first-ever wet shave soap for someone interested in trying the skill.
My face and neck feel real soft and clean(this is about an hour after the shave). It'll be interesting to see as the day goes on whether the sandalwood kicks in a bit more. 2 solid passes, no cuts. I missed part of the middle of my neck, but got the angles well. Stoylin Gentleman is a fine aftershave for Alpha. Might try the Clubman Whiskey Woods tomorrow, as that may be a better match. ("Tobacco and woodsy"-course the Whiskey leads the parade). Very Excellent.

Thanks Danny....I'm sure to get another later on. I'd like to just rubber-stamp my review here to the one I'll be doing for Sir Hare themselves(chuk-yuk-yuk.). Well I just sent the review and BANG-on it went to the site. That stunned me, as others I've done don't get accepted right away. And now they sent me something to confirm who I am..thus it isn't officially on there. I knew there was something rotten in Denmark. I need to call them to make sure I confirmed it the right way. But the important thing-very nice shave. And now they sent me an e-mail saying they got it and explaining it would take a day or two, which I suppose I should have expected. She complimented me on the review and wished me a nice week-end.
