  1. Thanks Jim. I didn't want to scare the kids, so I left the pj's at home.

Thanks gentlemen! We had a blast today with the kids. We had a different class every 45 minutes or so, read a book together, and then did a related activity. Our book was...

I braved the school cafeteria for lunch. I was one of only two adults actually eating in the cafeteria, and the other person brought their lunch. It was fun to eat with my kids (the class I usually volunteer in), but it felt like being in an army base.

Convo between me and a teacher as I was getting in line:

Her, "Are you really going to eat here?"
Me, "I didn't get this big by missing meals."

She smiled uncomfortably while I scrambled for a carton of milk. I also told the cafeteria servers that I was the biggest 1st grader they'd be serving today. I got an extra slice of pizza and a double portion of potato wedges. All things considered, it was a win.

Thanks Jason. I wore my G Shock at the last minute; however, I decided to dress up a little and wear a long-sleeved Louisville Cardinal t-shirt. :) I seriously can't remember if I've ever worn a pair of cuff links. One of the benefits of being an engineer is that you can generally get away with never having to dress up.

The Hamilton is a seriously nice watch, though. I've been rocking it the last few days.

I'm up for the road trip, Paulie...er...Danny. @Terry may keep his fridge stocked with razors, but I bet @jgreenepa has his stocked with ice cream. We'll take the express elevator down to street level as needed to get more Cheesesteaks.

  2. Sounds like a fun filled day, Charlie! Doesn't sound like you found the time to pick up a houndstooth suit. There's always tomorrow.

  16. I pick up all my mail and even UPS/FedEx deliveries at the local branch of the post office. It's small, and the postal clerks there all know me. They are super, and they really look after me. I've received packages with shaving goodies from all over the world. I've also shipped out a lot of gear. I make sure to tell them what's in the packages. They think it's funny. Watches too...they know I like watches. Oh yeah, guitars too. I look like a kid at Christmas every time they hand me a package. They've even let me use their hand truck to take stuff out to my car. I'm a piece of work, and they know it. I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
  17. IMG_20200306_193058.jpg all my shave soaps thus far. Thinking about trying out some of the stirling shave soaps in the future. The bay rum sounds interesting along with the deep blue sea, it might be a good scent to pair with aqua velva ice blue
