  2. Thanks, Joe. The soap was fine for my face, but was a pain to use on the noggin. Live and learn.

  4. It’s a double bellied full hollow. Not my razor but these picks give a better view

I do like this razor. On my last shave with this blade from my sampler I though 3 would end it..... nah. Tryablade.com offers a wonderful service to those just wanting limited test items.

From the Max Headroom List of Most Glorious Stanks comes the soon to be discontinued Tuscany. The scent profile says; "Start with Tuscan Cypress fragrance oil, add in some Bergamot and Violet, and sprinkle with an array of spices. A fantastic scent for both men and women." The Lovely Mrs Headroom commented "gee you smell good today". Get this one while you can. As long as you keep the Man Card punched up, the possibility that a woman might wear this won't bother you.

  7. Wonderful shave, Jim! Don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything negative about a Cooper Monobilt. That brush handle has to be the brightest thing I've ever seen--and I used to try to stare at the sun when I was a kid :D

Well all is right with my world this morning because I redeemed myself from my last shave. I have to say that the JR #386 has to be my top brush, with the exception of my last shave, because this is a suoreme lather maker. These bristles are very soft and it makes for a pleasurable lathering experience. Obviously, I achieved a nice thick, voluminous, cushiony and glistening lather. I will use this brush for the last time on my next shave because 5 uses is adequate to break it in. By tge way, I found out that this is a Whipped Dog Silvertip knot. You can get one of Larry's Silvertip knots for $27. Personally, that's a steal! Ok, endorsement is over so back to my report. Did 2 passes to get my VBBS/ IBSS++ without any irritation this time. As expected, I reopened the slice from the last shave but that's fine because believe it or not, it looks much better. Did get a small weep on moustache, but no biggie. Applied styptic to my reopened cut and weep as well as the witchhazel. I am not leaving anything to chance. Lol! Splashed the matching aftershave and the Nivea balm for a shave that is typical for yours truly. Have a great day gentleman! 20200306_214300.jpg 20200306_214300.jpg

  9. There's that 007! Very nice shave Jeff (though I sympathize with the constant relathering--I do a lot of that with the shavette now).

I wonder if there is some sort of trick to the glycerin-based soap. I've yet to try one, so I have no idea if that's the case or not. I'm interested to see how tomorrows lathering goes.

  10. I will, thanks Danny...making a long story short here, I was born with a minimal brain issue, and balance is known to be affected by it.
