Try riding the cap till the blade doesn't touch the skin.
Then bring it to where it just touches the skin.
Gently now.
I had similar issues.

I see a good looking razor, and it's cheap, ya know..3 ta 5 bucks.
Like a lost little puppy, it comes home with me.

Most like the TTO type.
Not sure why, the 3 piece clean better.
They do have a better shave profile too.

ATT mini focus update.

Went after it again this afternoon. Everything was the same except I used a Feather blade instead of the Astra. ATT Kronos handle with R1 plate.

Excellent shave except for two small weepers on the lower right hand area of my neck. I hate weepers. After closer inspection they appear to be two very small bumps that got clipped.

I just don't know if the Kronos and Feathers are going to work out but the shave was a lot better than last Saturdays.

The Imperial soap was on par and did an excellent job. I am really liking this soap. Finished it off with the stank.

Great shave Jeff. I am sorry you are having issues with the soap. I only face shave but have not experienced what you have. My lather doesn't fade and even with a three pass shave the soap in the bowl is just as thick as when I first whipped it up. I am perplexed. Give it another go and let's see if it is any better.
