  4. Very nice shave and a great looking blade Bill.
  5. Very nice shave Clint.
    Weepers, ah no big deal.
The new blood thinners I'm on make weepers an almost guarantee, unless I'm real careful.
Hope work is easy, get home quickly!

  10. Great shave and lineup, Patrick!
  11. Thanks, Terry. Pictured is a Merkur 180HD a.k.a. 23C.
  12. I have found that 2 to 2 1/2 passes is sufficient to get a nice comfortable shave. In the beginning, I did the full.3 passes, but with improved technique and being happy without chasing the baby gives me a better quality shave in the shortest amount of time. I say VBBS (visual baby butt smooth) is just as good!
  13. Sorry
I got one of those, a 23C, my first 3 piece razor.
Nice but a little mild mannered for me nowadays, even with a Feather blade.
I pull it out once in a while for old times sake.

  14. Spicy Sunday. 3/8

    Yaqui Helmet
    Feather 2
    Old spice SC India
    Omega Boar
    Old spice As P&G

Road the cap today. 2 passes took care of two days growth.

  15. Bill, that is a sharp looking razor! Yes, the pun was intended. Lol! I have heard that black Arkansas stones give a nice smooth edge. Anyway, wonderful setup and shave!
  16. Great shave Tom!
    Feather on!

Russian blades are still the main focus this
    month.
Up today was my very first use of a Voskhod. Comrades, I am here to tell you:
    Это одно прекрасное лезвие
"This is one fine razor blade"
    First, let's recap the lather...
I have stated multiple times, that I am not replacing any of my creams or croaps, as I
slowly...operative word, "slowly" transition to 100% triple-milled soaps.
However, every time I use this Belgian product, I question my decision, so magnificent is this cream.
    Check out this lather:

    Right? Spectacular.
Slick doesn't sufficiently describe it, either.
Now, with only 24 hours of stubble, I was prepared for a BBS/DFS results.
HOWEVER...the Voskhod was so smooth 'n sharp, that I was able to duplicate the
90˚ neck maneuver of yesterday, for another 100% BBS shave.
    :happy036::happy036::happy036::happy036::happy036::happy036::happy036:
Kept it simple with the post-shave as I finished off a bottle of Nivea ASB.
  19. Wonderful shave and pic, Clint! Man that brush really stands out! I am not a color coordinated guy like you, Jim and Gary, but I can see you using it more with citrus soaps.
  20. Thanks, Bill! I am getting more confident, now. The fear is largely gone, but I've found that a little fear can be a good thing--pretty soon the pressure is going to start increasing if I'm not very careful. Gotta watch out for that. ;)
