6th day of the NEW focus, 3rd with this LC. Very nice 2 pass shave this morning. First use of this software, which came as part of my Stirling gift certificate prize from the last raffle courtesy of @Primotenore. I had this scent in a bath soap and enjoyed it, so gave it a go in a full tub and bottle. It was like I remembered, although I do find it interesting in that I believe the Creed scent it is based on is considered a unisex scent. As Bill @Edison Carter mentioned about the Tuscany, it still punches the man card. I need to do what Patrick @9nein9 did and pull out my high school ‘Mack’ jacket to keep my man card intact. Mine was green and was often worn in unison with a grey Stanfield wool shirt. I did grow up in a coastal forestry town after all...

A very good review of the scent, Clint, and smart move transferring the soap from that useless tub to a normal sized one.

 

Glad you like the stuff, Patrick. I can’t speak to the new formulation of Maximo, but the older one is just a great scent and performer.

 

I like the Et Tu as well, Bill. I do disagree a bit on the slickness- It works quite well for me. A few of my faves contain no tallow, though. SV and Castle Forbes are as slick as anything I’ve got.

I have the Traveling Box right now. Promised to replate a few razors from the box and send them along to those that follow. All 3 OT needed some repair in addition to plating. Ended up annealing and soldering something on each of the three. I got lucky and didn't make anything worse. All repairs sufficient to return the razors to service.

This OT was the nicest of the batch. Nice enough that I was tempted to keep it, but I am a man of my word and I can do another one for me later.

Had one of those, "I didn't sanitize this razor" moments as I finished my first pass. Then I laughed. Any germ that survived the plating process is going to laugh at a 2 minute soak in barbicide.

The Godrej cream was nice. Smells like lime scented cleaner so some probably won't like it. I may have to order some Israeli reds. Awesome blades!

This was my first time replating a MMOC. I couldn't get it to hang right. Need to fix that if I ever do another one.
