I fear the panic and economic collapse far more than a influenza-like corona virus.

 

Love the Havoc shirt! Hockey at any level is worth showing off. As far as that report - yep - learn technique. That's why the Rule is the Rule. I love the fact that I can pick up almost any gear I choose and have a successful shave. But I didn't get that skill without a lot of learning on my first set of gear. Aristocrat, Voskhod, Proraso, Omega Pro 48. Over and over and over and over and over and..........now after 5 years the choices are infinite, or so it seems. Great advice and the foundation of what we do here! Love it!!! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and all the ships at sea - the one, the only, the wise, @Bama Samurai .

 

Barbasol is the only "goo" I keep around anymore. Great for travel or quick shaves when you just don't want to deal with the whole process. I avoid gels like the plague because I understand the chemical processes involved and prefer natural, like real soap. Barbasol is the perfect "middle ground" when you need or want it.

 

I love you as my brother. Always. I'm so glad for everyone who hangs out on this thread. It's amazing.

Wait, what do you mean "as my brother"?! We aren't really brothers? Ok, from another mother maybe. I'll have to grant you that.

 

Consistency in lather removes a variable. There are are far better options available, but those outcomes vary according to brush skill. When I need to get it done, it's my humble opinion to always select a known value.

Good menthol Monday morning all!
Got a blade glued in my Wilkinson razor.
Glued a Feather Super Pro in place to stay better this time.
Man what a razor!
2 passes on the face, clean and smooth, very smooth.
2 passes on the head extremely smooth.
No issues, none!
Consider this....
A Feather Super Pro blade.
A razor that it is not designed for.
First time I've ever used it full head and face. Other than about 1/4 a shave yesterday.
The new blood thinners seem to be working well too.
No issues!
I must be getting better at wielding these things, that's nice.
I left the blade in to show you all the crazy way the blade is installed.

Well the clock said I got up at 5:30, the old bones say it was 4:30am.
All the grandkids stayed the night with their mom, the crew is about ready to rumble.
Gonna run....

Good morning

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. The alum did spark at my Adams apple.

Second shave on the VDH Ice Tempered blade and it seems two is the limit. Was pretty tuggy by the third pass.

I believe I have one DE left with a blade in it then on to the SE's. I'll stick with those until the new razors land in the mailbox.

We've driven to Maine from Kentucky a couple of times, Paul. That's a fun trip also. It's a much more pleasant drive when you swing (way) wide around NYC. We've done it both ways.

In my opinion, NYC is best seen on TV or through the airport window as you're waiting for your connecting flight.
