    Thank you, Jim. The brush isn't technically the prototype for the Meetup brush. @PLAla has the prototype. This one was, however, the inspiration for the meetup brush. Same wood and similar distressing on top, but in a Chubby handle shape that accommodates a 30mm knot.

    Congrats on the new brush, Jim. I saw those Petrol Heads on sale when I got a couple T2s. Didn't pull the trigger, but I'm glad to hear it is working well for you.

    ATT Focus

    Tried a fresh a Voskhod and Derby in the Kronos this morning. First pass on the left side was with the Voskhod and the first pass on the right was with the Derby. Second pass was opposite of the first. Touched up a few areas with the Voskhod after the two passes.

    The results.

    The Voskhod is a noticeable sharper and smoother blade than the Derby but the Derby is not a bad blade. They both do a good job in the Kronos but the Russian steel just beats the Turkish steel. I can sleep better tonight knowing I have appeased the Cartel. My blade from yesterday apparently had higher miles than I thought.

    ATT Focus is complete. I now have to figure out what to get out of the toy box next.:signs002: Maybe I will get inspired from reading through the shaves today. Do I want to get the Dovo shavette out? I have a nice SE that came from the Canadian side of the border. The Rockwells are feeling neglected. The Gillettes and Gems are hiding out. Almost forgot about the Karve. To many toys but it is fun and we will not even talk about soap. ;)
