  1. The CC bowl looks great indeed, but it's too big for my sink area. In fact, I was surprised that the bowl I now use for the Burma Shave "fit comfortably".

I decided to keep it simple this morning and use my Travel Tech. This razor has a narrow sweet spot, but once you find it, the shaves are as good as any razor in my den. I was rewarded with a fantastic shave in two passes plus a few touch ups (what I normally do), and the alum was silent. I stretched the skin like I was using a shavette because that always lets me get closer using less strokes. At my Bride's suggestion, I recently incorporated a few drops of 100% almond oil into my post-shave routine, and I can feel a difference in my skin. I just blot off the excess after I clean up the sink (provides time to soak in), and I'm good to go. I plan to continue adding almond oil to my morning and evening skin care routine.

Nine out of 10 dentists agree that the performance and scent of Stirling BoS is top shelf. I'm still getting whiffs of the wonderful scent.

Next up is the Parker SRX.

I hope you all have a fantastic Wednesday.

  15. I'm that one dentist who is still trying to "negotiate" the product, due to a scent I can't place. But as it is Stoylin, you do get that smooth clean shave.
