No irritation or blood at all. Still not as close as I would like but I do think the irritation has been more due to pressure than angle. I am figuring this thing out but I still like the straight razors better. SRs are worth the extra work if you ask me. We'll see if I still feel that way at the end of the month.
Myles, if you enjoy the scent then by all means don't ditch it. We all poke fun at each other on the 30DC especially when it comes to Clubman. Some of us like it and some hate it but we all have fun dishing it out and taking it. I like the smell of vintage Old Spice but I cannot wear it. The reason is the wife. She says it reminds her of her grandfather. Now she loved and has great memories of her grandfather but she does not want her husband smelling like her grandfather and I can understand that. Wear it with pride Myles, just be careful at the Pig!
I say it is a combination of the razor gap and your hand that sets the aggressiveness and the efficiency of the shave.
lol not hitting any beach till I get fully "swole" till then she's gonna have to catch me in my rotc uniform, preferably the dress uniform. because damn did I look good in that uniform and still do.
Awesome shave Evan. To be honest, I like straights better than my shavettes because of the aesthetics and the different feel from each one. However, shavettes keep my shaving techniques in top form.
