Thursday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Shark day 6 Bundubeard Rooibos SS Bull Dog Moisturizer Proraso Red AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP The Shark blade is starting to show signs of fatigue so it took me a bit longer to finish my shave but it still seems good enough for tomorrow. The scent of Jaco’s Rooibos soap is heavenly, the lather worked up perfectly - my goodness, did it ever become thick as hell along with fantastic slickness so my razor glided across my face with ease. The Bull Dog moisturizer gave me such good postshave attention, and the Proraso Red aftershave’s scent is altogether delightful. A couple of sprays of the Bleu de Chanel and I was good to go. SOTD, Thursday March 12-2020 Razor : Gem Damaskeene open comb- MFG 1912-15, this is the razor that took Gem to new heights of popularity in USA and world wide. They sold Millions of 1912 different variant models for many years with some improvements. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (3) Soap : Razorock Irish country side. - mild scent with great lather qualities IMO. Brush: Yaqi rainbow with brown whiskers 26mm - great brush IMO. Pre-shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on the beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave : Proraso green with witch Hazel + Nivea balm. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 blemish weeper= Great shave & hit my sweet spot target! Have some great shaves!
Well a little late for the mid-week shave and a little early for the weekend shave...but I will take it anyway! Colonial General SE in hand is a beautiful thing and I am really enjoying this razor. A&E Cafe au Lait not only smells great but the soap base is right up there with some of the best I have tried. Beautiful lather and glide. Need to explore them more because I have only this one. Beautiful three pass BBS shave achieved. The matching AS is just full of skin food and really is as good as the soap. If you love chocolate and coffee this is the one to get.
