So I just discovered a new addition to the canuck vernacular..it is canuckleheads..hope I've got the correct spelling. As far as I know the term has been coined by 'The Canuck shaver' https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBn6aBhvJjnkGlLCXpL-AJA Though I think the fellow could be referring to his subscribers, me thinks canuckleheads might have farther reaching possibilities..
So far so good. I had to go to the DMV to renew my license (& upgrade to Real ID). It was moderately busy, and yet I was in & out of there in about 10 minutes.
I had a bit of time before this really needed to be done. But with so many things closing, I wanted to get it done while I could.
I might follow that logic depending on what happens around here. Anyway..been a good day for me thus far.....errands in the morning, gym later.
Finally, some respect! https://cheezburger.com/10886149/pe...r-it-was-closed-amid-the-coronavirus-outbreak
Yesterday was, to say the least, interesting. We went to the archery range for a shoot. Unsurprisingly, we were the only ones there. (Before leaving, we used Lysol on all the door handles, bathroom faucets, etc.) Today we learned that they are closing for the foreseeable future. Good thing we can still shoot in the park. In the evening, we set out to put up a new medicine cabinet for our downstairs bathroom, which is just off the kitchen. Knowing this would take some time, we had dinner delivered. All was well, until around 8PM, when we were nearly finished putting the cabinet up. As I glanced out toward the kitchen I saw that a battalion of ants had invaded it. (The kitchen was ant-free 90 minutes earlier when we had dinner. ) So once finished with the cabinet, we had to spray the kitchen floor and then mop up, after most of the ants were dead. Subsequently I put out the ant baits which got rid of the rest. Now to get the smell out of the house.
I spent the last 30 days in the hospital, my congestive heart failure and AFib is kicking my butt. It was a year ago I was hospitalized for 19 days, I have to get this under control. God is good
Best of luck in dealing with it, Kerry. I had to set up a lot of ant raids in my very first apartment, in DC. They did the job all right. Bill looks pretty good in the middle of the flock(Bill Shakespeare)
