Those granules look more like small pebbles! I'm frustrated just looking at them. Never had a soap do that, but my Schmidt's Water and Wood deodorant developed granules in it. It's a coconut oil base and does have arrowroot powder and baking soda in it, so I can see how that might granualize (think I might have made up a word there). But shave soap...? That doesn't make sense to me.
Sorry about the soap Joseph. I've never seen that happen, but I freely admit I've only been using artisan soaps for a few months and I've only purchased from 3 different artisans. I did read a little on bad soaps and it's possible they're just not making the soap right... Thanks for sharing. Now I can avoid spending my money on sub par soap.
