Going great Charlie! More snow today but it will all be gone in 3 more months. I'd suggest getting a refund and move on . I would be very upset if it were me . Had this happen with truck parts before and finally got my money back and went with another brand .....only after changing ring gear 3 times . I feel your frustration.
I agree! For me, it may be that my skin might not be able to handle Feathers. I seem to do well with Rockwell, Voskhods, and Polsilvers. I won't rule out Feathers, Kais and such, but I am not in a hurry to try them at this time.
March Madness/Shavettes March 14 Razor - Muhle R41 Blade - Soap - Stirling Satsuma Brush - Semogue 1305 Post - Alum Welcome to the end of a slightly weird and wacky Saturday. It was cold and damp all day today and that, along with the total lack of anything going on in STL right now, combined to create a bit of an odd feeling. Work was busy for about half the day, then just fell off into a pit of nothingness. Grubhub now offers "No-Contact" deliveries, meaning you can specify we are to leave the food at your door, office, whatever, and text you when it's there so you don't come into actual contact with another person during the delivery. I actually like that idea, not only for the time being, but really forever. Faster and easier. My knee was better today so no worries there. Jennifer rode along for the day as well so I did have company, but things are way too quiet overall. Guess that's how it's gonna be for a bit. The shave was a nice diversion tonight. Another round with the Muhle R41 and Sharp Star. I chose the Stirling Satsuma for that wonderful citrus scent and decided to give the Semogue 1305 a run for its money. I should have loaded it a bit heavier but I did make it through three passes and all was smooth and the finish was BBS. My neck was a bit hot with the alum. That big razor does it's thing and something extra if you don't take the pressure completely off. It was a good finish, though, and a good wrap to the day. Hope you are all doing ok and here's to a fantastic Sunday - whatever it may turn out to be!
Thanks Tim! Yes, I believe that the Jones ShakeSharp is the greatest headshaver for me. That's not to say that I won't use the other safeties, shavettes and straights because I do like variety in my life.
Very nice Tim! It's amazing how you guys need to shave everyday even when you get close shaves. It's been 37 hrs since I shaved and I don't look too shabby, but I know that I definitely will need to shave tomorrow.
Fantastic photo, shave and report, Neal. That Satsuma is such a refreshing looking scent--love it when folks throw it into the rotation
Yesterday's CCS left me scruffy today. Today's BBS, technically, will leave me good enough to make it through tomorrow if I were to choose to go without a shave. I just like shaving too much to skip a day. And thank you!
