I am up and moving on this messy Tuesday morning. Everything played well together for a wonderful three pass shave. After touch ups and buffing my lower neck, I caught the baby with ease. I am off to my office today. With the schools closed and many business working remotely, the traffic is a breeze. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
  2. Stunning, Clint!
    Love the color coordinating!
  3. A friend sent this video to us this morning. It's a fun reminder that things will eventually return to normal. :)

  4. The one I remember is the theme being played by trumpets and French horns as the fancy-looking man struts off the ship and flips the aftershave to some lucky guy.

  5. Tim, thanks for putting in the long day to invest in our next generation. It's teachers like you that really make a difference. Thank you, my friend.

I had to look up a Trinity knot. That's really uptown. Unfortunately, I spend my tie money on watches and ice cream, not necessarily in that order. :D
  6. I had a free sniff of a Pete Cardin cologne(off a magazine page). I liked it a lot.

  7. :)....Charlie, I don't know if I ever did my "Golf On The Radio" shtick in here. I'll do it sometime.

  8. I had two weepers this morning, but otherwise another fine Stoylin Sandpiper shave. While loading, I recalled some advice where they said to just focus on the tips of the brush, rather than dive it into the soap. That worked well. Two solid passes, the aforementioned two weepers. Face and neck feel good, soft, and clean. I'm doing all my winter shaves just 2 shaves at a time now, to make sure I get in as many as I can before the heat&humidity comes.
  9. Thank you Jim. I am trying to live up to your lofty standards. ;)

  10. Does this mean your new screenname will be "wristcreamb"?

Hemingway Accoutrements~~Simpson Persian Jar 3~~RR Game Changer OC .84/Sharp Star
    Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone.
My "green" contribution is the Sharp Star tuck.
Continuing my quest to finish this crème. I think I will accomplish the goal by the end of the month.
Sticking with the Game Changer and a Russian blade.
Sharp Star was on deck and as far as performance, it's as good as the Voskhod.
    Every bit as good.
My most ergonomic brush handle has to be the Persian Jar.
It just fits so well in the hand. It also doesn't hurt, that this knot is probably one of my softest,
without sacrificing backbone. Just the right denseness for that smoooooooth feeling and
just the right flow-through to get the lather where it needs to be.
    Speaking of lather:

The RazoRock quality...for the price...is outstanding. Really.
About the same price as a Mühle R41, but no Zamack.

The HD handle is really heavy. More so than my Weber Bulldog.
I'll have to get the scale out to see the actual difference.
Smooth, effortless shave; no issues; no irritation; nothing but goodness.
Finished, as usual, with a palm-full of the matching tonic.
  12. Thanks Joe.
On that part of the neck, I bleed something awful.
But even on the blood thinners, styptic stick takes care of quickly.

  13. Looks like our Swedish friend cut off Ernie's right shoulder and points south. Good sounding shave though.

  14. Keith!
    Wonderful!
You have the coolest shave goodies!
I think you and Charlie @wristwatchb are competing on the watches.

I've tried to wear the things, but none ever lasted more than a week or two.
Drownded a few. The others just stopped working.
Wind up or battery type didn't matter.
So I just stopped trying, of course, I was a lineman then too.
    Well...

  15. Good luck Tim!

The school my grandson is at are sending "packets" of work home for now.
So I guess I'm gonna be teacher pappy for the foreseeable future.
They noted that they were going to be available on an online school.
But the neglected how to sign in, or anything else in that matter.
    Funny!
The brick and morter schools played heck trying to eliminate the on line schools in our state.
    They succeeded to a point.
Now, to keep their jobs, they have to depend on them.
    What goes around........

  18. Excellent shave Joseph! Your HA does produce a nice father, but alas, it is the chunky peanut butter style of soaps. Have a nice day my friend!
  19. Wonderful shave report and photo Joseph. The little guy loves to photo-bomb
  20. Thank you Joe.
