    2020 Shavette Focus Shave # 15

    Yesterday was a no shave day, so I decided to drop a new Feather blade in the Parker SRX for today's shave. I noticed a slight difference in the Feather compared to the Voskhod blades I had been using, but the shave went well. I agree with @NCoxSTL in that blade differences in shavettes are extremely minor. I performed one mostly WTG pass and a few touch-ups, and I'm pretty smooth. I re-opened a weeper on my jawline, as I suspected I would, from a previous shave. Except for the weeper, the alum was silent. It was a nice shave overall.

    @Terry, I'm down to 280 Feather blades. :shocked003:

    @timabababaluka, I decided to get a jump on the deployment of Feather blades in case you reach shave #20 first, and we certainly can't rely on @Trigger for help here. :happy097:

    2nd day with the Jaws. Whipped up a super lather and had three easy passes earlier this morning. Love the Cubebe scent.
    I’d echo what @Linuxguile said about the .68- Not a very wide cutting angle, but it does the job nicely. I am quite smooth, but I wasn’t paying attention very well and re-opened the cut by my ear from yesterday.
    Didn’t see it when I took the pic, but the soap stain on the SV tub looks pretty bush league. Sorry, @jluc, just not up to your standards today...
    Have a great day all.

  3. Wow! Classy shave, Jason. Sorry about re-opening yesterday's cut. It happens to all of us occasionally. I hope your day is going smooth like your shave. :happy088:

  5. I know you were loathe to be rid of it, but fully clean-shaven seems to be a hit :)

    Great shave and report, Joseph! :D

    Grizzly Bay does brush drops on Friday afternoon. I try not to look because there's almost always something there that I want.
  15. Gorgeous group. James.
  16. Can do Kentucky shave, Charlie! I will eventually break and use Feather blades sometime this year.

  19. As smooth as a Personna 74 and a Wilkinson Light Brigade...albeit without their longevity.
  20. Thanks, Joe. For those reasons, I never perform an ATG on my upper lip. :rolleyes005:
