  2. It's awesome to see how quickly you picked up and mastered the injector, Joe. :D

I've got a boar that has been shedding quite a bit as I've practiced lathering with it trying to teach myself the subtle differences between badger, boar, and synthetic. If it tapers off and quits, no big deal--I'm just afraid of an eventual avalanche of bristles that end what is a pretty nice brush.

  4. Thank you, Tim! Brushes shed until they are fully broken in. However, I have badly cut myself because a boar bristle got caught in my DE razor. It happened because my thick lather hid the bristle so I went over it and... During a headshave, I was doing the back and a bristle got caught in the razor and gave myself a nice 2 inch cut on my neck. I thought I needed to go to the hospital that is how serious it was. It left a nice scar, but it isn't too noticeable. So be careful of shedding brushes.

  5. Very classy setup Gary!
  6. thank you Joe..:)
  7. You are making fast progress, soon the weepers will be a thing of the past. I am 4 pass shaver, for me I do better with gradual beard reduction. If the edge is good just keeping on keeping on.

  8. Saturday shave with a 8/8 Friodur stainless straight razor. This is some fine German steel and takes a wonderful edge. An excellent shave today.

  13. An "All-Barbershop" shave today, and it went real well. The Maggard (Marble Handle)brush loaded the Central Texas Soaps soap with ease. I got a lot of soap onto the face and neck for each of my two passes. Two tiny weepers. Clubman Original A.S. continued to show me it can be in concert with any barbershop soap. Clubman Shave Talc finished me off nicely. Very Excellent.
