  5. Agree with you there Terry. From The Traveling Box of '19 I got a Schick type H, The Hussy. It's very compact with hardly any handle, but it give great head ... shaves. Going need to order more Chick blades soon if I choose it often. I've also enjoyed head shaves with a Yaqi DOC DE. It looks scary with that open comb DE cap and blade exposure, but the geometry is right so I don't nick my dome.

  11. Bellisima rasatura Maestro!
  12. Great photo as always, Jim. I read somewhere that real Agar/Oud Essential Oil can go for around $30,000 a kilogram. Apparently the mold it comes from is only on about 2% of that type of tree. I’m guessing Stirling used a synthetic...
  13. Great shave and report Charlie. Mike's Lavender is a fantastic soap.

Welcome back Blair. Great to see you posting again.

Very entertaining write up Primo. Photo bombed again.

  14. Awesome shave, photo and report, Charlie--you've got that SRX spotlessly mirror-like!

Think I'll stick to the 2 or 3 pass, no buff shaves as well. Except Sunday--Sundays I chase the baby; consequences be darned ;)

  15. Nice shave, Clint. The soap sounds great. I’d vote for keeping the Karve and let it develop that lovely brass patina.

  16. Which boar is it, Tim? Some are known shedders, others it would be rarer.

  20. Great to hear from you again, Blair--fantastic looking set up, great report, and awesome photo! Love the looks of that Feather, btw.

Great results with the shavette! Thus far, a 2 pass shave with a shavette (even with touch ups) doesn't get much better than CCS for me, but I'll get there eventually. ;)
