  1. Thank you Evan. We are both proud of Asha. I can say the reduced expenses will be nice.

  2. Thank you Terry. I just decided to give in and antique the razor.
  3. Great Shave Joseph!
You need to put your friend to work cleaning brushes or something to keep him busy.

    The Shave...

2 passes today, WTG. Mostly a CCS with some rougher areas that WTG passes just can’t seem to phase. No irritation, though, and for the non-Sunday days, that is really what I’m shooting for: looking like I took the trouble to shave, but none of the accompanying irritation that often tags along.

The 3rd shave with the Feather was also pretty smooth. I’m tempted to take on a 4th shave just to see if the poor blade is up to it--I don’t think it will survive the chin, though.

Hope everybody has a fantastic whatever-day-this-is! If I don’t go in to work, I never seem to know what time or what day it is :happy102:

    19 down, 81 to go!

  6. Great shave Evan!
Nice to have more family time.
My 8 year old grandson figures he's moved in here.
The wife stayed at her sisters because she's alone.
Came back last night and everyone is together now.
Enjoy it while it lasts, might be for a month or two.
What ever it is, it wont be long enough.

  7. Thanks Evan! We don't get paid. However, I have savings and other income, but if this continues, I may have to go back driving a cab this summer.

  12. I just remembered it being a boar, tbh. I believe @Drygulch had a ‘49 in his. I completed another a little while ago. The beauty of a CA finish is that you don’t have to wait at all after it is done. Colours inspired by @Trigger ’s Heritage handle. Shape is similar to a 10098 handle. I followed your lead and I just modified a ‘49 to fit nicely in the 1” hole. Drying now. Pic before I put in the knot and before I polished out a few scratches:

I’m keeping this one, I think.
  13. Thanks, Joe! :D

  14. Thanks Terry! I should probably make it a triple threat by doing a focus on focusing on the Focus ;)

  15. Nice shave and gear, Evan.
I’ve been working mainly from video conference (we use Zoom) this week as well. You are right, both in group and 1:1 conversations on it, people have lingered considerably longer than usual. We are social beings.
  16. Wow! Beautiful, Jason!
  17. That's a beautiful handle Jason! I can see why you wouldn't part with it. Glad that my C-Mon Heritage was the inspiration for it. Can't wait to see the finished assembly.
  18. C'mon Tim, you're an English teacher and you should know how to simplify things. You are dealing with foci my friend, sigh! Lol!

  19. Very nice, Tim. Personally, I’d go 3 and out for blades at this point in your focus. Eliminate the variable first and then maybe push the blade a bit later on.

  20. Very nicely done! I remember being mighty impressed by Joe's brush as well--you caught up with the source, sir ;)
