Nice job, Patrick. You're making wonderful progress with the shavette. It has been fun riding alongside you this month. I'm glad you have found a solution to tackle the dry lather. I have to relather a few times during the shave myself. Those ATG passes are my favorite with the shavette if the lather is right.
If this focus goes on that long, it will be your job to feed Helga. As for me, I better go buy more blades!

March 23, 2020 Karve with D Plate Gillette 7 O’clock Yellow Zenith B25 Boar Eleven DFS 2019 LE Shave Soap & Aftershave Monday again. I have a doctor's appointment later this morning for an annual physical. I never eat breakfast but I am hungry this morning just knowing I can't eat. One of those mysteries of life. The big boar ate through the Eleven soap whipping up a wonderful rich lather. Three passes and touch ups ended with a wonderful BBS shave. For some reason the matching splash seems to have little granules. @Primotenore what's happening here. Feeling sand in the aftershave is just nasty. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
Fine shave this morning..as I went from one Texas-based company to another. The Lumberjack soap(from The Soap Exchange in Ft. Worth)was quite thirsty before my shave today and may still be for tomorrow. I therefore need to bloom the brush a little longer. But as it was, I had two solid passes(the second better than the first-which perhaps always is the case). I had to do some touchups on each cheek but got them clean and clear of the grey astroturf(well, I have SOME blond left). I should have used more of the aftershave....I really like the Agadir. Those fellas know their Oud Wood. Very Excellent.
Beautiful set up and photo, Clint. The antique finish on the Karve looks great! I hope all goes well today on the physical.
Fine shave Jim! Believe it or not, I picked Coconut and Lime Soap for my next shave. I guess we are in a Citrus State (Fla or Ca) of mind.
