  1. Thanks Gary! It really is 6 stacked on top of one another. I left them altogether as I was bowl lathering to have the firmness needed to do so because they are made of soft plastic.
  2. Thanks Jim!

Thanks Charlie! I agree on the ATG passes . Some soaps are better than others for the shavette I find.

Never hurts to buy more blades anyway Charlie, you just never know .

    Very nice Jim!

    Thanks Jim!

    Thanks Clint!

Beautiful brush Clint! Are you almost st the death ring or still have alot of soap left?
    Great shave Paul!
  3. Thank you, Patrick!
  4. Great report Joseph! I like the Proraso pre shave also. Clears the sinuses .

Great shave Jason! That brush looks fantastic!

    Great shave Dale!
  5. Last week I received JR #394, a very special brush from TSD's very own Master Craftsman, @Jayaruh. It is beautifully crafted. The photos simply don't do it justice.

A shout out to @clint64 for suggesting the Maggard's SHD two band fan knot. This will be a treat to use. Thanks Clint!

Jim also surprised me with a Russian shave soap called "AMBRE." Here's a screen shot of the website. It looks like a very nice company with items for both guys and gals. I assume the scent description is shown on the side of the lid. If anyone could help me make out what it says (calling @NCoxSTL), I would greatly appreciate it.

It looks like a fine soap, based on the reviews on the website plus what I can tell from these videos. If anyone knows more about the soap, please let me know.

Thanks again, Jim, for the fantastic brush and the surprise gift. :bounce017::bounce017::bounce017:
  6. Thank you, Charlie.
Thanks, Joe. For many years I avoided the beehives. Then I had 4, but this is my last one...and a keeper.
    :thanks: Clint!
  7. Beautiful brush, Charlie. As far as the soap goes, if it doesn't work out as a shave soap, you can always cook with it.
  8. I can't wait to see you use that beautiful brush, Charlie!

  13. Thank you Patrick. The ring of death got so large it was hard to load the brush so I moved the remaining soap to the center.

That sounds great, Terry. Everything you said sounds really good! Have a fantastic day from Charlie. I'm going off the air now for some ice cream.

  19. Thanks Clint. I appreciate the help on the knot. It is jam-packed with badger hair, and it feels wonderful.
