March 24 Shavette Shave #22--”The Thin Red Line (part II)…” Gear Razor: The Max Headroom Focus R21 shavette Blade: Personna Blue (1) Brush: Semogue Boar Soap: Soap Commander “Drive” Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented The Shave... Went for 3 passes today, but tried something a bit different: 1st pass (WTG), 2nd pass (WTG--but at a slightly more aggressive blade angle), and 3rd pass (ATG). No chasing or touch ups--yeah right! I wound up touching up a bit on my chin as I always do; no matter what shaving platform I use, or how many promises I make to myself that I won't, I do... every time. Stupid chin. The first pass was quick and easy, with nary an issue. 2nd pass on had one issue. I allowed the soap on my neck to get a bit dry, and the blade got stuck in the mud, so to speak. Light set-down line on the outside of my neck. Bled a bit, but disappeared before the cold water could be applied. 3rd pass also went without a hitch. I’d say I’m on the DFS side of BBS/ DFS. No irritation today… a very good day, Have a yourselves a terrific Tuesday everybody! And... 22 down, 78 to go!

Excellent once again Tim! During a pass, I have had to add more soap or water to the lather to make sure I have enough slickness for the razor to glide. There's no shame in doing it. It's only you that knows unless you share it with the rest of us.
