GEMonday, March23-2020, A few of us decided to use our GEM G-bars today and mine was in storage for sometime(out of site out of mind). On a three pass shave this little razor works well but on a 2 pass is pushing CCS, DFS shave for me. So today was a 3 pass shave and the results were in my sweet spot. Razor: Gem G bar - MFG 1953-58 Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) Soap: Razorock "The Dead Sea" Brush: Yaqi timberwolf 24 mm - great brush to use! Pre-shave : brush wash my entire face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave : Razorock " The Dead Sea" aftershave with with witch Hazel + Nivea balm. Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + minimal irritation + 1 blemish weeper reopened = OK shave in my books! Have some great shaves!
Tonight’s Shave Razor: Schick E2 variant 3 Blade: Schick Super Stainless (Holland) (1) Brush: JR192 Soap: Boots AS: Florida Water Had an ultra close 3 pass shave tonight. I did slice off 2 small bumps resulting in blood. Other than that an irritation free BBS. These Dutch blades are incredible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Tue 24th March Simpson Chubby 1 /Maggards 2band Tabac soap Occams-Oren , No3 plate Feather Proguard [ 3 ] Tabac A/S Lotion If one gets over its unconventional looks and gives it a try, they will find the Oren to be a rather good Razor. Very easy to load and keep clean, and that odd looking handle really allows one to manoeuvre it very easily. I find that it shaves very smoothly, and the finish one can obtain is quite amazing. I get a better close finish along the jawline and around the neck with this than with any other type of Razor that I have used. I can use it as a Daily Razor with no worries about cuts/ irritation arising.
Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #395 two-band badger Supply V2 Schick Proline CWR Tabac ASB The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply V2 injector razor with a Schick Proline blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I got the closest shave in weeks today. This C3 is in my top of the top tier of razors! Today I also used my Vintage Old Spice Talcum Powder Tom White ( @twhite ) piffed me! I have always loved the after shave but never actually used the talc when using a SE razor. Man, I RECOMMEND it! After a decent AS Splash...give the face time to dry and talc up! And this vintage OS Talc ROCKS!! Thanks Tom!! Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Wed 25th March The Grosvenor [ 404-mixed ] Williams Mug soap Personna Super S/S SE Personna S/S [ 5 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Back to the Injector rotation using the futuristic looking Personna SE, which takes a bit of getting used to.I find that it works quite well with a Personna blade. Glad I got one some time ago, as the ones I see coming up for sale are a bit pricey. Will keep it in the rotation which I am trying to thin out a bit. Today was good but I am afraid is outshone by recent AC/SE Shaves.
