I’ve been extremely lucky (and patient) in my searching and gotten great deals on all of them. The Fili 12 I really bought because I wanted the brush it came with. I’d estimate I paid about $70 for it after deducting the cost of the brush. The 13 I bought from Japan and got a sweet deal. And the 14 I absolutely stole from an auction in the UK. Just keep looking. They’re tough to find, but they’re out there!

I have one Fili that was a PIF and I love the way it shaves. I need to round the tip a bit because it is very sharp and I nic myself almost every time with it. I would love to try a different one someday but with this corona virus thing going these days money is short so it will be a while. Thanks for the pics and keeping me drooling and dreaming of another Fili.

The brush is new. It is an Omega barber style brush. It has to brake in. So lathering is a bit problematic.

A delightfully smooth shave this morning, gentlemen, and a great respite from the quarantine blues. Recently acquired Tanifuji Baba 862 Swedish Steel with a Thäter 4125/2 silver tip badger brush to spread the Pannacrema Nuàvia Verde love. What a great scent and wonderful performance.

Continuing my smaller C.V. Heljestrand theme, I give you a No.24.

Not part of the MK series, and I don’t think this early model was intended for export. It is a 4/8” near wedge, which is a very unique razor in my quiver. A very enjoyable change of pace.

I love that kikuboshi. I want that razor. I have a soft spot for kikuboshi razors. My first japanese razor was the Kikuboshi Super Kikuboshi. I also, now have the Supreme Kikuboshi. I also have a Kikuboshi strop.

Love the scales on that BaBa. Very nice.

Today's shave was with a new razor. I have been trying to learn to hone properly and by george I got it with this razor. I started with a 1k Shapton ceramic then 3k, 5k, 8k, 12k Naniwa ceramic stones. I got a really smooth and comfortable shave off of this razor.

Does anyone know anything about this razor?

What are those scales made of? What ever they are, combined with good lighting for the photo, it looks really nice.
