It’s been a cold night, but the morning is bright, so I could use a mid-season soap: the Thunder of Delft. I thought it smelled like gunpowder, but it doesn’t.

It has the same efficient mechanics as its brothers, and the razor is a guarantee, especially in combination with the SOC.

And now I have a day at home, as a retired old man, because there are no matinée theaters here, damn corn fields!

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply V2 injector razor with a Schick Proline blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor set on 6, 2 pass BBS. Very, very nice shave. Forgotten how nice the SA is. Polished it up last night (after this pic) with some vinegar and ultrafine grit sanding pads.
