March 28 Good morning fellas! Shavette Shave #152 Dovo Shavette Rockwell DE 1/2 Blade (4) Jayaruh Synthetic Brush #290 Stirling Glastonbury SS and AS Nivea ASB Well, now that a mixed a couple of straight razor shaves this week, it's back to supporting Tim, Charlie and Patrick with shavette shaves until the end of the month. Once again, I decided to bowl lather and so far, this was the best one. I just painted this lather on my face and it was a glistening, creamy sight to behold. I just added a tiny bit of water to my face and I was ready to start. My Dovo did an awesome job on my 40 hr stubble. There wasn't any blood escaping my skin and irritation knocking at my bathroom door. 2.5 passes and touchups was the prescription for today. Although it wasn't a cotton ball BBS, I still classify it as BBS. Applied a double hit of the aftershave and followed with Nivea. My skin looks great and I have a nice smile as I am singing, Put on a Happy Face. May you guys have a wonderful Saturday!

I hope I’m not violating any rules on my dad’s account, but he has asked me several times to let his friends know that he expects to return to this forum sometime early next week. He had the flu, not Coronavirus, but it developed into pneumonia. He has been in intensive care since Wednesday night. His fever is down this morning, and the docs think he’s turned the corner. If his fever returns to normal by tomorrow, he’ll be discharged early next week. Ben Greene

Great shave, Joe. IMO, the real test of great prep and a great lather is if you can do exactly what you did---simply paint the lather on your skin and get a smooth, slick shave.
