  1. Thanks, Clint! Definitely a less formal knot ;)

  3. Thank you Jason. I didn't mean to sound that way about the razor. The Nodachi is a keeper. It just requires the me to do my part.
  4. You, sir, just made my quote of the week list :happy102:
  5. Thanks, Jason!

  6. I did, actually! Starting with the tie flipped backwards took me some getting used to. It's a nice looking knot--might even replace the half Windsor, my go to no-nonsense knot ;)
  7. Evan, you will find that the Shake Sharp is great for headshaving. Mind you, it isn't aggressive, but it is efficient. I normally do 3 passes and touchups for cueball smoothness. I just recently used the ShakeSharp to whisk away my ear hairs. You are still young so you don't need to worry about that just yet. Lol! This razor is great because it is almost impossible to cut yourself.
  8. Very nice shaves, Rick!
  9. Thank you Jason! I just can't wait for this pandemic to be over. Unfortunately, I live in the epicenter of this thing and my state is destined to be the last one to be cleared of it.
  10. Thank you Clint!

  12. Catch up post.

Went silent for about a week and find myself behind on the gang here....... and shaving.

My prayers are with you all 'my brothers of the clean face' as we navigate through this worldwide trial.

With all the stuff going on, I went 6 days without a shave, something I had not done in years. It was a simple pleasure to get down to bare skin again with some fave stuff.

    In honor of Shavette March.....

    ...... Great shave!

Also, it has been an even longer time that I had gone without sleeping very well. Being the visual aid for stupidity that I usually am, I had to wait until I would awake gasping for air before finally doing something about it.

It took me 4 sleep studies and plenty of phone time wrangling with, providers, vendors, insurance and so forth, but it is finally over. I can now have good sleep and have not snored for 12 nights in a row. I no longer wake up with a head full of snot, and can once again sleep in any position that I choose. What a relief.

Stay strong. Stay healthy. Stay free.

  17. Great photo and shave Charlie. The table is one that an engineer would develop. ;)
  18. Awesome shave, Bill! Also super excited about you being able to sleep again--such a crucial part of good health. Stay strong and healthy, sir :D
