March 30th 2020Well, we are closing to the end of this month very soon. Learned a lot this month especially a new shaving technique that has worked. my shave of the day with 4 days of facial growth 1. 1946-47 aristocrat 2. New Astra SP De blade 3. 3 passes of course 4. Proraso green shave soap 5. Aqua Velva ice blue aftershave 6. Thayers rose water witch hazel 7. Calvin Klein euphoria aftershave balm.
Thank you, Jason! I've really enjoyed using it so far, though I still feel like I haven't quite got it dialed in just yet. I am amazed by how much difference the brush design makes--always just figured a brush, is a brush, is a brush. Not so.
good afternoon gents..monday shave.changed a little from the earlier pic.mood change.loaded the french rfb/french tech handle combo with a new to me derby premium.yeah derby right ?the greens aren't sharp enough for me.anyhoo, chiseled face GTB is awesome stuff.slick lather with the omega and 2+ smooth passes later .fab bbs..GTB aftershave to finish.fantastic lazy day shave.good evening gents..
A very sharp Riga Razor 7/8 was the blade of choice, paired with CF the shave was excellent.... if the BBS lasted longer it would have qualified as epic. In the office today as usual wearing my Ball Rail Road watch.
Very nice set up, Gary! Black, white, and silver is so classic and classy all at the same time. I'm kind of curious--you've got a ton of experience with Gillettes; out of all the different types, which one consistently gives you the best shaves?
Another awesome shave, Keith! Is there any significance to the design of your cufflinks? Either way--really cool!
cheers Tim.great progress on the shavette adventure..congrats.the brit rfb is a smooth efficient shaver..dial it in and its fantastic..
