    Razor: Charcoal Goods LvL3
    Blade: Astra SP (1)
    Brush: Heritage Klenzo
    Pre-shave: PAA The Cube
    Soap: A&E Asian Plum
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA unscented Star Jelly
    AS: A&E Asian Plum

    Good morning

I know I said I was going to complete my three shave set with the Gamechanger but the new CG was calling out to me.

Wow! I know this is just my first shave with the CG LvL3 and my perception may change but this one has dethroned the Timeless Bronze OC as my most aggressive feeling razor. Feels closer to my shavette shaves than any of my other DE's. A whole lot of blade feel. I actually had to find my styptic for a slice along my chin. I don't remember the last time I used my styptic. Silver lining, I found my good nose hair scissors while hunting for the styptic.

Three passes for near BBS. The alum, other than at the slice on my chin was quiet.

    Have a great day!

  3. Lovely shave report and pic, Maestro! My nose is unfortunately beyond redemption, but I appreciate the olfactory information you and many others provide here! I really like Wizamets, and have been hoarding the last few original Polish blades from a purchase some time ago. They’ve always performed well for me. Enjoy your day, and stay safe!
  4. Thank you Gary.

  7. Lovely photo, and fantastic report, Clint! Sorry to hear about the weepers--I've only used two Feather blades, but so far I've noticed that the 1st shave with a Feather (for me, at least) is pretty darned dicey.

    Stay safe out there, sir!

  10. Thanks for the excellent shave report on the new razor! Great shave! Using a Feather Super in my last two shaves has helped develop a real appreciation for slow and steady! Love that Classic old Klenzo. I have my dad’s old Klenzo, but it’s pretty beat and has a cracked bottom. Gorgeous image as usual! Stay safe and healthy, my friend.
  11. Thanks Tim!
I'm not sure how I ran across this one.
Sometimes it just falls in place.
    Sometimes I get lucky.
I normally look in the places most don't.
Top of the fridge, under the bed.....
    ;)

  12. Thank you Tim. Until last year I only used Feather blades and still prefer them to others. My mind was not on the task at hand. Coupled with the narrow sweet spot in the razor, I was reminded to pay attention.

  13. Thanks, Clint! I’m really liking my new General. When was the last time you used yours? Ever used it with a Feather Super? Mine’s really delivering the goods with that blade. I’m planning on trying it with my Vector eventually. Stay healthy and safe, my friend!

  14. Great setup, Jim! A&E has quickly risen to become one of my favorite artisans, I find their AS incredibly moisturizing as well. Great stuff!
  15. Sorry about the weepers, Clint! Great pic and summary!
  16. fine shave and pic Paul..tomorrow is another day..:)
  17. I was in London 25 years ago. 1st night there after a long flight we went to a Chinese take-out restaurant, and my sister ordered orange chicken and a water. The poor girl at the counter looked at her and said, "I'm sorry. What was that?" My sister repeated the order, and got the same reply. We went through several iterations of that before the ancient little old lady cooking in the background, turned to the girl at the counter and said, "I believe she is asking for a wa-TER, dear." My sister suddenly realized that stateside, we say it like 'wadder'. Wa-DUR. She was pretty embarrassed about it--"we must sound like a bunch of backwater yokels," she said.

We nothing! I ordered an orange Fanta and skirted around that whole mess ;)
