  1. Wow, Paul! You're pretty serious about your menthol. :D

Mine will probably last another half year--I use menthol in just about everything, but I've dialed back how much I use.
  2. Thanks, Jason--it was... interesting! :D

It's actually worth quite a bit. I tend to roll waste-not-want-not, and having another pass worth of soap seemed pretty wasteful--until I tried shaving with the dregs. Seems to me like that extra helps protect and maintain the integrity of the lather.

  4. That's really good advice. :) You can't see the world through a different lens, but realizing everyone has their own lens at least helps. I really wish I had figured that out at an earlier age, but some things are harder to learn until you've gained some experience.
  5. Thanks for having my back, Evan. Grumpy old men have to stick together. :D

  9. Well, Tim, I hate to air old 30 DC laundry, but that Toggle has a sordid past. Of course, I don't hold a grudge against @NCoxSTL. That dirty bum. :happy102:
  10. fine shave and pic Tim..
  11. Get outta the breakroom! ;) What an awesome razor, shave, and report, Bill!
  12. Great picture, Tim!
  13. Thank you, my friend! :)

The transplant house has a large shared kitchen. If I get in trouble, I'm sure to find someone that I can ask for help. If not, at least I'll provide some good entertainment. The cooking adventure will be fun, and there will be stories to laugh about. We're both going into this with thankful hearts and good senses of humor. Besides, I'm sure Rochester has plenty of Chinese takeaways. :happy068:

As for my Plan (B)...There is required dishwasher and garbage take out duty for all the caregivers. As a happily married man, I claim extensive expertise in both of those pursuits. I may work out a deal with someone that likes to cook but doesn't want to wash dishes or empty the bins. :signs002:
  14. I will check it out, Bill. Thank you.
  15. Thank you, Blair!

  16. Thanks Andrew. I sure do appreciate it.

I'm glad you checked in and shared photos of Logan and Declan. I just love seeing them in action, and I can't wait to see their new baby brother. Prayers for a safe delivery for Mom and a healthy son.

    Hang in there!
  17. I would much rather cook than clean.
